Who We Are

President and Managing Director

Laura Manning earned a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin and numerous credits toward a Master's degree in Educational and Behavioral Psychology from the University of Houston. She has spent most of her career in media and marketing  leading dynamic sales teams, delivering spectacular sponsorship events and galas for causes of which she is passionate. Her bevy or corporate, media, national & local events and non-profit clients have been long term and impressive. From Tiger to Tinker she has worked with local to worldwide clients. She has served on many not-for-profit boards including the American Advertising Federation - Houston  where she remained for 10 years including the President/Chairman of the 95+ year old organization.

She has worked for the Hearst flagship, The Houston Chronicle, Houston Home & Garden, Houston Metropolitan magazines and operated her own marketing, promotions & publishing firm, Marketing Masters, Inc. for ten years. Her written work has appeared in numerous national, regional and local publications and websites as well as her own original blog AdVentures for The Houston Chronicle's Chron.com about the media and advertising industry. Theatrically trained, she has directed and taught theatre arts in public school.
